FAQs

Here we ask the hard questions so you don’t have to. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to ask. You can contact us here. Thank you!

What does a typical Sunday Service look like at LCC?

First, don’t forget to grab a cup of coffee at our church cafe! (Or tea, if that’s how you roll)

Take a seat anywhere you want.

We sing. We pray. We learn. We even laugh at Pastor Daniel’s jokes.

You are free to stay after the service and mingle or you can head out if you need to!

I’m new to my faith / not so sure about this whole Jesus thing. Is that a problem?

Absolutely not! You are completely welcome to join our Sunday Services. You are not obligated to stay or feel pressured to do anything you don’t want to. We simply ask you are respectful and come with an open mind. If you have any questions or want to speak with someone, please contact us here.

What does Lighthouse Christian Church believe?

Overwhelmed by the gift of salvation we have found in Jesus, we have a heart for authentic worship, are passionate about the local church and are on mission to see God’s kingdom established across the earth. We are a church that believes in Jesus, a church that loves God and people. To learn more about our mission & beliefs click here.

Do I have to participate in communion?

No. You may join communion when you feel ready to do so. There is no pressure to participate and you are free to respectfully decline.

Do I have to give?

While LCC believes in the importance of giving as a church community, we will never pressure you into giving your money to the church. How you handle your money is your business. The money donated to the church goes towards our ministries, our wonderful staff, and allows us to share the message of Christ in Clatsop County.

Do you offer free childcare?

Yes!

Nursery (Birth - 2 years)

Toddlers (3 yrs - 6 yrs)

Kids K-5th

Your child (no matter the age) is more than welcome to join our normal service.

Do you have a Mother-Infant Feeding Room (Cry Room)?

Yes! It is located in the main sanctuary and is a place for mothers to take their fussy or hungry babies for privacy, and still be able to listen to church. The room is meant for a mother’s place of comfort and privacy of her baby. There is a special heater inside for easy temp control, along with sermon volume control, if quiet is needed. This is separate from the nursery and is completely self-sufficient.

Please note: No child is ever to be left alone in this room.

What Sunday Service should I attend?

Great question! Be our guest Sundays at 10am. If you are unable to attend in person, you can livestream the service online.

How do I get involved?

Thank you for your interest! You can view all of the volunteer opportunities here.

Is there someone I can speak with privately?

Of course. Simply contact us and let us know how we can help :) Your information and message will remain completely confidential.
