What happens if the debt ceiling is not raised?

There is enough money to cover the Debt Service, Seniors and Military. So, there is not enough to keep all the Government Employees? Cut the pay and they can stay. Welfare? CUT all NON-CITIZENS. Cut Foreign Aid, IMF and UN. We will be fine. The sun will continue to rise in the East.

Sell off vacant Real Estate and pay it directly on the debt. Same with ALL ARTWORK.

Issue GOLD MINING PERMITS and all other MARKETABLE RESOURCES including COAL and OIL. Allow THINNING of the National Forests we get money for the timber and save on fire costs for summers to come.

Within 24 months the debt can be down by a full 50%. Barack Hussein Obama would probably be re-elected. (I shudder at that thought!)

Once the debt is reduced and the intent to get rid of it is obvious to the world the AAA Rating will be restored.

This is no different than what MILLIONS of us TAXPAYERS have been doing. It is very able to be done and then we can begin our Nations REBUILDING.

My honest opinion is that it may actually not matter one bit whether they raise the debt ceiling or not. It could very well be too late to do anything about it, especially with the crop of socialists (Democrats) and weak-kneed apparatchiks (Republican leadership – and most of the rest of the party) that beat the drum about fiscal responsibility but won't take on the task when pushed to do it. Don't touch the entitlement programs. Don't touch social security or medicare. They come up with 'compromises' in attempts to appease the socialists (that's actually quite mild, since most 'Democrats' are just hard-cord Marxists).

Truth is, grandma (yeah, we all love our grandmas) has been sucking the teat too long!

The following scenario was suggest to my elderly aunt.

1. We cut a check to all those receiving social security and medicare currently and those that would receive them in the very near future in the amount of $200,000.

2. We then stop all 'contributions' to the social security and medicare programs and end them immediately, letting those receiving those checks to go out and spend that money as they deemed necessary.

The aunt vehemently opposed the thought! She's been milking the system since her husband died prematurely (in his early 50s) a quarter century ago!

even not replacing jobs that government workers quit, are fired from, or retire would painlessly shrink the government down, threw attrition. i would like to see the USAs massive land holdings sold off to US citizens. Timber is a great idea. coal and oil are a no brainer, and as NASA has just proven that AGW is a total fraud, the EPA can now be shrunk down to cleaning up toxic waste. the big agencies that needs to be eliminated are all the ones created by obamacare. if we as a country can take control and reverse this disaster communist presidents war on americans, in 4 years we will be making china renounce communism, and copy our example. the other path means a totalitarian china crushing freedom with a red iron fist. the choice is ours.

The Best Way to Get Rid of Cockroaches Is To Hire A Professional ...

A freak vehicular accident occurred just outside our house. A moving van accidentally hit the electrical post next to us causing the post to come crushing down. The accident resulted to very serious damage in the immediate area, but most especially the sidewalk. It was quite fortunate that the post fell down sideways or it could have caused severe damage to our house and perhaps even to us. The accident could have resulted in fatalities had it happened in the morning or in the early evening when the streets are at its busiest. As it was, the accident happened in the wee hours of the night and nobody was hurt. At least it was something to be thankful for.

The unfortunate incident brought about an unexpected power interruption in our area and the neighboring districts. Almost everybody within the area was roused from their sleep because of the commotion. Our neighbor had the presence of mind and immediately called the power company to inform them of the situation. We were informed that the power was triggered to automatically shut off in cases like this as a safety precaution. We were a bit worried so it was welcome news for us. The bad news is, the accident left a big gaping hole on the sidewalk where the post used to stand. Due to the brownout we were unable to see that minions of cockroaches have crawled out and into the neighboring areas. Our house was the nearest to the post and thus got the brunt of the scattering cockroaches.

The accident was long forgotten when we got wind that there are cockroaches in the house. We are indeed very surprised by this. We always take pride that our house is always spic and span when it comes to cleanliness and now this! How could it happened, we asked ourselves. No matter what, the important thing to do now is to call a cockroach pest control company to get hold of the situation.

When we reviewed the events going into this “discovery” of the cockroaches, we attributed the cause of the infestation to the accident. We can find no other way for it to happen. The cockroach pest control company promptly arrived and immediately buckled down to work.

The cockroach pest control was done without much of a fuss and was over without so much of disturbing anything inside our house. Thankfully, the post is up already in the same hole where it used to stand, sealing the hole completely. There is no more danger of further cockroach attack from it.
