Two burglaries being investigated
The Burleigh County Sheriff's Department is investigating two burglaries that appear to be related.
Sgt. Trent Wangen said someone stole a key to a skidsteer and a receiver hitch from a secure fenced-in area belonging to Ideal Concrete at 2434 Skylark Ave. between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. The property was valued at $60.
The same night, someone stole a $34,000 Bobcat skidsteer loader from someone storing it at the corner of Skyhawk Avenue and University Drive.
Wangen said the burglaries appear related due to their timing and proximity.
