BRUNSWICK

PUBLIC INTOXICATION, PEARL ROAD: A 30-year-old Wadsworth man was arrested at 12:10 a.m. July 3 after he approached officers at the scene of a traffic crash near Quotes Bar. The man said he had information about the crash, but later became uncooperative with officers and began using profanities. The man, who was reportedly intoxicated at the time, was cited for disorderly conduct and released at the scene.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, PEARL ROAD: Officers on patrol found a 25-year-old Suffolk Lane man lying in the parking lot of Whiskey Run Bar at 2:22 a.m. July 3. The man was found to be “highly intoxicated“ and was cited for disorderly conduct and taken to a friend’s house.

NEIGHBOR DISPUTE, ASCOT DRIVE: A man reported being threatened by his neighbor at 12:30 p.m. July 2. The complainant said when he cut off a branch of his neighbor’s tree, which had grown onto his property, the neighbor said she would shoot him and cut down all the trees on his property.

FIREWORKS, REDSTONE CIRCLE: A 43-year-old man was cited for illegal fireworks possession and discharge when an officer on patrol saw him lighting and setting off fireworks on his property at 10:26 p.m. July 1. DRUG ABUSE, WELLFORD WAY: A man reported seeing two men, later identified as a 40-year-old Mansfield man and a 38-year-old Danville, Ohio man, smoking marijuana inside a car outside his house at 6:40 p.m. June 28. The complainant said the drove away when he confronted them, running the complainant’s foot over in the process. The complainant refused medical attention and police were unable to locate the suspects in the area.

ASSAULT, MAHATTAN CIRCLE: Police tracked the suspect in an assault on Pearl Road at 9:34 a.m. July 1 to his home and arrested the 39-year-old Cleveland man. The victim, who was the suspect’s stepbrother, said the fight began over a “bank account deposit dispute.”

BURGLARY/DISORDERLY CONDUCT, LAUREL ROAD: Police arrested a 19-year-old South Euclid man at 9:50 p.m. July 1 after police responded to a break-in call. Tenants at Laurel Hill Apartments reported hearing a number of men pounding on the door of several apartments and yelling obscenities. The suspect was found inside one of the apartments and initially told police that he had no knowledge of the incident.
