People get tattoos to get noticed.It requires bravery and shows a wild side to friends. Getting a bad, but not enough to stop millions of inking procedures.

Kotuku (White Heron)

This is a symbol of prestige and uniqueness, a darling or treasure.  This symbol is found on the New Zealand two dollar coin.

Koru – The Spiral (unfurling fern frond)

The Koru represents new beginnings, harmony and growth.  It is taken from the symbolism of an unfurled silver fern leaf.  The Koru also represents new life, that everything is reborn and continues, renewal and hope for the future, as well as tranquility and peace.  It also depicts endearment in the relationship between a parent and child or husband and wife.
