Hermelinda Ramirez
Hermelinda Ramirez, age 67, passed away in Fort Worth on July 28, 2011. She was born in Morelia Mexico on October 22, 1944 to Jesus and Maria Garcia. Hermelinda was strong-willed and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was adventurous in traveling which led her to her many destinations. She was an active church member of Templo Pan de Vida for 31 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother and valued spending time with her family.
Hermelinda is survived by three sons, Thomas Ramirez of Ennis, Daniel Ramirez of Bardwell, and Manuel Ramirez and his wife Jennifer of Ennis; grandchildren, Sonya Roybal, Manuel Ramirez III, Journie Ramirez, Jennifer Ramirez, Katy Ramirez, Pamela Ramirez, Thomas Ramirez, Jr., Cristina Ramirez, Daniel Morin, Jr., Veronica Rodriguez, Cassandra Campos, and Heven Zapata; three sisters, Sarah Garza of Red Oak, Irene Page of Fort Worth, and Mary Rocha and her husband Jose of Dallas; two brothers, Robert Garcia and his wife Victoria of Arlington, and Martin Garcia of Dallas and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Amanda Ramirez Zapata; one brother, Joe Garcia and ex-husband, Isidro “Jay” Obregon Jr.
Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2011 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis.
