American Technologies Network developed a family of advanced thermal sights for small arms applications, medium and heavy series oscilloscopes THOR thermal imaging. The optical THOR 3 are based on a proven core microbolometer 240 x 320, which is coupled with high resolution color OLED Microdisplay Assembly or B & W OLED Microdisplay Assembly which provides the resolution and clarity.
To achieve greater accuracy and precision scopes THOR use a screened back windage and precision optical system that allows rise of ¾ "WAM (2X) and ½" WAM (3X) reticle adjustments.This is a significant improvement over systems that use digital windage and elevation. The Thors are the only weapon thermal sights ATN feature new owner - Two color brightness control manual reticle. This feature allows a choice of color (red or amber) of the reticle projected according to the preferences of the operator and the tactical situation. The Thor has a 3x optical magnification, resolution increased benefit compared to traditional models of digital zoom.
Thor 3 range is feature rich and ideal for force protection, border patrol officers, police SWAT and special operations forces.Features include: precision internal adjustment windage and elevation, control of digital operation with direct access button, a manual refresh of the image switching, digital zoom for monitoring, fast 3 seconds start-up, 6 hours operation with four lithium batteries, the MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny Rail) Quick-Release Mount; all housed in a rugged, all-metal housing development.
An important advantage of three THOR made to operators of surveillance is that reductions in uncooled thermal imaging, with the dust, smoke, fog, fog and obscurants combat. The ThOR 3 does not emit any visible light or RF energy, keeping the operator's location in total secrecy and safety.

You get what you pay for with optics – this is especially true with night vision and thermal. The cheap junk that is priced in the few hundred dollar range performs poorly and won’t last long. I was looking at thermal goggles and other thermal optics at SHOT Show last year and the price for quality stuff was starting in the $20,000 range from what I saw.
